The Sparkle Minnow has an excellent sink-rate and very flashy profile. It is a proven pattern wherever trout are found. It is irresistible to aggressive fish in the spring and fall. Our favorite color to fish is white, black, and peacock.

Fishing Strategy:
Minnows and baitfish provide trout with more bang for their buck and they rarely refuse the opportunity to eat one. In most cases, we strip a Sparkle Minnow with a traditional down and across delivery. Whether you are swinging it or stripping it, this fly is a must-have in all streamer boxes. We typically fish this fly with a short leader terminating in 2X or 3X tippet.
