Kraft’s Kreelex (2 Pack)

Description

Chuck Kraft created the universal Kreelex pattern over 20 years ago. Since then, it has become one of the most widely used streamers in the country. It has an excellent sink rate with heavy lead eyes and can take a beating bouncing on the bottom. If you don’t have any, make sure you add some to your streamer box.

Fishing Strategy:

Minnows and baitfish provide trout with more bang for their buck and they rarely refuse the opportunity to eat one. In most cases, we strip a Kreelex with a traditional down and across delivery. We have found that a slower, shorter retrieve provides the best results. Whether you are swinging it or stripping it, the Kreelex is a must-have streamer and deserves a spot in any streamer junkie’s box. We typically fish this fly with a short leader terminating in 2X tippet.
