Autumn Splendor (2 Pack)

Description

Tim Heng developed the Autumn Splendor on the Roaring Fork River. It has a life-like profile, without a lot of unnecessary materials.  The lead dumbbell eyes allow it to sink quickly, while the marabou, schlappen and sili legs create great action in the water.  As an added bonus, the Autumn Splendor can also be used as a crayfish imitation.

Fishing Strategy:

Minnows and baitfish provide trout with more bang for their buck and they rarely refuse the opportunity to eat one.  In most cases, we strip a Autumn Splendor with a slower retrieve or a dead-drift presentation.  Whether you are swinging it or stripping in this steamer the movement in the water column is unmatched by any other small streamer you own.  As we do with all streamers, we typically use short leaders terminating in 2x tippet.
