Mercury Glass Beads

Tailwater Junkie is now offering “Mercury” silver-lined glass beads.  Silver-lined glass beads do an excellent job imitating gas bubbles that get trapped in a midge’s thorax as it emerges.  We use a lot of these glass beads in our tailwater patterns, and think you should too!  Mercury beads are for the “Mercury series” while the peacock and red beads can be customized to any nymph or midge pattern you would like.  Our favorite patterns for the peacock bead are the Minute Midge and Pearl Jam.

We will be offering Mercury beads to start out, followed by other colors in the future.  Each package will contain over 200 high quality, uniform Japanese seed beads. Available in sizes extra-small (18-22) and small (14-16).
